Calmer Sutra Tea was founded in Melbourne, Australia in 2001 by Caitlin West. It all started as a hobby and before long her famous Chai tea was sought after by restaurant, coffee shop and café owners Australia wide. In 2008, Caitlin’s brother, Dylan and his wife Debra founded the American arm of Calmer Sutra Tea in an effort to bring the quality of Calmer Sutra Fresh Chai to the tea drinkers of America.

Our mission is simple: - to satisfy the eclectic tea drinking desires of all, by supplying high quality, uniquely blended Chai tea. Calmer Sutra Tea is a family run business ensuring the closest attention to detail. We believe in our product and are committed to providing excellent service to our customers and consumers.
Our Product
Calmer Sutra's chai tea is a unique, taste sensation recognized by its distinctive ‘wet mix’. Our hand made production process is complex and precise involving meticulous attention to detail. We take great pride in the end result and so do our customers!
To make our Chai tea, we hand grind 8 different indian spices (including cinnamon quills, cardamom pods and star anise flowers), then blend with fresh ginger root, pure farm fresh honey and lush premium black tea. Our Chai tea is extremely low in caffeine and is a healthy 'calming' alternative to coffee.

I tried Calmer Sutra Tea, and I love it. I cannot drink any other tea but this one hot or cold, in the morning or at night. It is satisfying to the palate and relaxing to the nerves after a hard days work. I would recommend this tea to everyone.
